A media arts studio and electronic publishing outsource.

Founded in 1993, David Thompson Studio (dtstudio) has assisted marketing teams reach and exceed their product communication goals by providing them with high quality graphic design and production services more cost effectively than larger marketing agencies.

With a single point of contact, providing the 'direct link', from front office to production. We operate the computer graphics and multimedia applications directly. These services start with proper project management and end with timely fulfillment of materials ranging from printed literature to online documentation, white papers, interactive PDFs, hot forms, and web sites.

Originally located in Silicon Valley and servicing a few high tech corporations in San Jose and Santa Clara, SunnyVale, etc... such as Adobe Systems, Applied Materials, Actel, Integrated Systems (ISI) and Symantec, this small creative agency supported the needs for print media advertising and various product marketing literature such as brochures, data sheets as well as product support tools such as user instruction manuals and help tools.

Today we're in beautiful Paradise California, ten miles east of Chico, still keeping a close network of associates from the bay area, offering professional high quality work outside the big city price, and still a single point of contact.

Offering consultation when needed without being big headed, is a delicate balance. We believe our clients are usually our best content experts. You've been successful this far, but may not personally have all the tools and time needed to pull it all together in a timely organized manner. We work with you to develop content and/or refer a writer for your industry, and provide the hands and tools you need for the final file preparation.

For client convenience, we have been providing plate ready files for printing for over a decade and can provide same day PDF review and/or web site updates.

As far as machines, we are a mixed shop of several Apples and Oranges, routers, scanners, and high end laser output, all talking over an internal ethernet, and delivering files over the high speed line, saves time and money in deliveries. For CDs we burn masters but don't usually duplicate very large quantities, it's just not our focus. Our office also has a MIDI station with 16 bit pro audio gear by KORG, 64 digital track recording, and 44 hz sampling, mastering custom digital audio for use in our multimedia productions.
